Trading Standards Lincolnshire County Council Trading Standards Service provides advice on and enforces many of the rules related to Animal Health and Welfare, including regulation of "stand still" periods and the disposal of dead stock and animal by products in general. In addition, it has been estimated that it will cost farmers in the UK £11 million per year to implement the package of measures on individual farms.
